Oakley Hunt North Team Showjumping

We sent two teams to this event, a team for the 80cms and a team for the 1metre classes.

The 70cms and 90cms classes were for individuals only, so some of our members took the opportunity to use these as a warm up for the team event.

The 80cms team were Daisy Robinson (Abby Spring Molly), Victoria McIlwraith (Daisy May), Kira Partner (Athelone’s Lad) and Katie Cameron (Trevenning Morning Glory).

A well-deserved 2nd place went to this team, who finished on 12 faults, round a tricky course with lots for the ponies to look at, including alpacas!

In the 90cms individual class Lizzy Barr came first.  Well done Lizzy – very well ridden.

The 1metre team were Abi Scott (Mon Confidente), Lizzy Barr (Wild Montana Skies) and Charlotte Chapple (Poetic Pride).

They achieved a respectable 4th place.  The course was very tricky and there was only one clear round in the whole class.  Lizzy Barr achieved an individual 5th place.

Thanks to all who came, it was a long day, not without incident, but a blessing it was indoors!
