Poplar Park Area Showjumping

The weather was kind this year, so the teams started off in good spirits.

Novice Team was:

Victoria McIlwraith
Phoebe Plumb
Elouise Stringer

We were fortunate to be able to send 2 intermediate teams who were:

Charlotte Chapple              
Amy Stone                       
Annabel Molyneux              
Sophie Levin                   

Abi Scott
Jess McIlwraith
Lizzy Barr
April Cox

Jessica Quinlan was our only open competitor for our pony club this year.

The novice team were all clear in the first round, but the second round proved more challenging , with no clears and a number of faults, so a disappointed team headed home, but will be back next year more determined and all the more knowledgeable !

Our intermediate teams faired a little better with one team getting 5th place overall, after a frustrating day , providing all of us with lessons for next year.

The other team wasn’t so fortunate, but jumped some good rounds , on a particularly challenging second course.

Jess Quinlan wasn’t placed unfortunately but was not far off . . . there were very few double clears in the open class.
