Team Showjumping Houghton

We were again invited to send 3 teams to Houghton International Horse Trials as part of the Pony Club Showjumping being run by West Norfolk Pony Club.

It was a big event, running alongside the International horse trials, so to be jumping in an arena next to the likes of Zara Phillips, Francis Whittington and Lucinda Fredericks was a great honour for our pony club.

We were invited to send three teams this year, one in the 80cms, 90cms and this year a 1metre class too. Each team jumped two rounds.

The 80cm team was

The 90cm team was
Cleo McGregor
Katie Cameron
Rebecca Chapple
Tara Murphy

The 1m team was
Jessica McIlwraith
Lizzie Barr
Amy Stone
Annabel Molyneux

All the teams rode well, round a course that produced some problems for many riders.

The 80cm team finished on 0 faults and were placed 5th.

The 90cm team were unplaced , finishing on 12 faults against some very competitive teams.

The 1m team were 4th, finishing on 8 faults.
