Congratulations to Lauren Price and her pony Cornarone Ros Pride. Lauren's 2nd place at the Area Final for Novice Dressage at CWA, Milton, earnt her place at the Dengie Winter Final at Addington Manor on the 3rd April this year.
They came a very respectable 14th, a huge achievement at national level for pony club - well done! |

Congratulations to Charlotte Chapple and Katie Cameron who competed at the Pony Club Championships at Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire.
Charlotte was placed 7th in the Open Show Jumping and Katie scored 62.40 in the novice dressage.

On the 15th March, 7 of our members passed their C Test. Big thanks to Laura Whitehouse for all the training and support given to the girls.

14th March 2015 |
Pony Club Dengie Winter League Show Jumping
Well done to Charlotte Chapple and Katie Cameron for qualifying for the Area Final at Easton College on the 14th March this year.
Katie qualified both her ponies, Blaze and Dude, at Forest Edge and Milton College, over the winter, in the 90cms class. Unfortunately success didn’t follow at the Area final, so she didn’t qualify for the National Championships at Moreton Morrell.
Charlotte and her horse Wonita of Bellhouse, rode in the open (1m 10) and finished 6th in the class. This earnt her a qualification for Royal Windsor Show on the 17th May, so if you’re there, look out for her in the Pony Club Show Jumping. Good Luck Charlotte, we look forward to hearing how you get on. |

Pony Club Dengie Winter League Dressage
Our local venue, CWA at Milton, ran dressage qualifiers throughout the winter.
There was one a month and a few of our members used it as an opportunity to prepare for the eventing season ahead.
We had 2 riders, Katie Cameron and Rebecca Chapple, who qualified for the Area final, being held down at Brook Farm in Essex. Katie had qualified two ponies.
Neither rider was able to go to the area final, sadly, but well done girls for qualifying! |
